Mr Black & White I have become such a big fan of this artist and they're multiple projects. On the top of that list of projects is Misty Keep. While I was not fortunate enough to catch the physical release on cassette, I own this product both digitally and on CD. Solitude is the first offering from Misty Keep by Snitz Synth (snitzsynth.bandcamp.com) and it does not disappoint. In total this dungeon synth album runs just shy of 10 minutes but is filled with three memorable tracks. Favorite track: Wandering Alone in the Halls of My Empty Castle.

Seven massive, round towers are low, but set firm and strong for a great defensive line and are connected by high, wide walls made of red stone.
Rough windows are scattered generously across the walls in an asymmetric pattern along crenelations for archers and artillery.

A domineering, ancient gate with wide wooden doors protects those in need from the treacherous lands outside, but it's not the only way in when you know the castle's secret passages.

Desolate fields of grass and scattered crags cover most of the lands beyond castle grounds. This keep has loomed high over these preternatural mists for at least a thousand years and seems unlikely to fall any time soon.

The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks.
