Very interesting sound with a very interesting subject. The atmosphere is well built and immersive. The percussive side of the songs transports us in the halls of the temple as if we could smell it. there is a variety in the sound throughout the album that make it really interesting until the end

A thick, sweet smoke of sacred incense sings warmly into your nose, your eyes, the fog of dancing billows cast heavenward from the gold and the stone beneath; the preparations are complete.
Led by the hand, hoodwinked, you are guided nearer toward the hammering of drums...

The crowning achievement of King Solomon's reign was the erection of the magnificent Temple.
According to the Tanach (II Chronicles):
3:3- "The length by cubits after the ancient measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits".
3:4- "... and he overlaid it within with pure gold."
Solomon spared no expense for the building's creation. He ordered vast quantities of cedar wood from King Hiram of Tyre (I Kings 5:2025), had huge blocks of the choicest stone quarried, and commanded that the building's foundation be laid with hewn stone. To complete the massive project, he imposed forced labor on all his subjects, drafting people for work shifts that sometimes lasted a month at a time.
Sacrifice was the predominant mode of divine service in the Temple until it was eventually destroyed.

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure.
