"Yuletide" is a split work courtesy of two of our very favorite champions of this realm: the prodigious, inimitable Meadow Grove (Finland) and the mythic synth minerval Mons (US). Both composers have crafted music for this release to capture not only the gravity and atmosphere of this most sacred and mystical time, but also the warmth and harmony it can create within our homes and our hearts. "Yuletide" will offer listeners a frigid expanse rife with magic, mystery, and thankfulness.
The natural world is perhaps the greatest of all swords; this strange Earth protects and encourages as readily as it smites down and humbles those who dare to contend with it. This majesty is, classically, the crux of the Yule period and from it a celebration of and reverence for the value of community and brothership is thus fostered.

To honor this, we have endeavored to tread into new creative territory by preparing two distinct offerings of these "Yuletide" compositions: a classic cassette shell of frothy eggnog creme and a second option in the Special Cherrywood Edition, featuring a handcrafted shell of 100% natural cherry wood construction designed by our dear master craftsman Kevin.

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks.
